English River Outfitters Resort is a Veterans Resort designed “For Veterans by Veterans”. We are a resort that will give a memorable outdoor recreation experience for the disabled veteran, veterans, their families, friends and supporters: It recognizes what our Veterans have contributed to and sacrificed for our Nation.It is our goal at English River Outfitters Resort to offer all of our veterans,
past, present and future; a solitude outdoor recreational resort at no cost to them where they can Camp, Fish, Hunt, Hike and enjoy a campfire in an enjoyable relaxing atmosphere. We provide a safe outdoor experience with other veterans to help promote healing and closure and where they can realize their strengths and independence.

Sockum Ridge, English River Outfitters will offer
Veterans:
- Camaraderie
- Hunting: Deer, Turkey, Pheasant, Ducks and Geese
- Fishing (Stocked Pond)
- Dinners/Bar-B-Q’s
- Week end get-a-ways
